Kineru ("we", "us", or "our") operates a nanny rating and review platform that helps parents discover and review professional nannies in Thailand. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
By using Kineru, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Data We Collect
We collect information you provide when signing in via social login providers:
From Facebook Login
- Your name (first and last)
- Email address
- Profile picture URL
- Facebook user ID (internal identifier)
From Google Login
- Your name
- Email address
- Profile picture URL
- Google account identifier
From LINE Login
- Your LINE display name
- Email address (if granted by your LINE account settings)
- Profile picture URL
- LINE user ID (internal identifier)
Platform Activity Data
- Reviews and ratings you submit
- Nanny profile information (for nanny accounts)
- Verification photos (for nanny identity verification)
- Anonymized usage events (page views, feature interactions — no PII)
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and maintain your account
- To display your profile (nannies) or attributed reviews (parents, displayed with first name only)
- To enable the rating and review system between parents and nannies
- To verify nanny identity as part of our platform trust program
- To improve the platform through anonymized, aggregate analytics (via Mixpanel — no PII is sent to Mixpanel)
- To communicate with you about your account or support requests
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We share data only with:
- Google Firebase — our backend infrastructure (authentication, database, file storage). Google's privacy policy applies to their services.
- LINE Corporation — when you choose to sign in with LINE, your authentication is handled by LINE's OAuth service. LINE's privacy policy applies to data processed by their service.
- Mixpanel — anonymized usage analytics. We do not send personally identifiable information to Mixpanel.
We may disclose your data if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion:
- Your account and personal profile data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Reviews you submitted are anonymized — your name is replaced with "Deleted User" and your identity is removed, but the review content is retained to preserve the platform's integrity and fairness to nannies.

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data.
- Objection — Object to certain uses of your data.
- Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format.
